Tabor
On Tabor shone an awesome light
when love, the law, and prophet met
above the Armageddon plain
and people deep in darkness kept.
Then he descended in God’s plan
to be in our forsaken plight
death tested on Moriah’s height.

Visitation
Barely a woman,
sown with the one seed
and first fruit of the
tree of life, bearing
death's own destruction,
she strides Judah's hills
to one thought barren
now late in season
ripe with leaping life
crying out wild joy.

Seven Cities of the Apocalypse
Markers on the Turkish road
Dead cities with fallen walls
Breached by earthquake and siege
Marble bones ofGreece
and Rome
Will and can not quit the fields
Bought with blood, built up in stone
Dead cities with fallen walls
Breached by earthquake and siege
Marble bones of
Will and can not quit the fields
Bought with blood, built up in stone

Rising Wind
Rising wind
Falling fire
Life abiding
Soul’s desire
Word speaking
Babel cure
Earth renewing
Spirit pure
Claim us
Cleanse us
Make us
Yours

Olivet
before the kiss of death had stung,
where he had healed with but a touch
the servant’s ear that Peter cut,
the risen Lord returned that day,
gave friends the charge to preach and pray,
then to heaven was lifted up
to set the place where we will sup.
